This is a free contest for kids to have some super fun. This is the fifteenth annual Keith Noel memorial. Most people don’t know but Keith was a local to surfing and protecting the Jetty. In his last will and testament his wishes where to have a free surf contest every year for kids from ages  8 to 15.

How it works:

We are going to have a soulful day of surfing. Please bring your beach chairs and umbrellas. If you want to verify your entry was excepted, include e-mail address. All check in times will be posted on myspace.com the day before the contest. There will be no phone calls.

Judging will be done using International Surfing Organization contest rules. There is 16 spaces in each category except for super menehune. The super menehuene category is a parent accompanied exhibition(no judging), and trophies may be given to each contestant depending on availability.

*Contestant must be present at awards ceremony to win a prize*

When:  Saturday, September 26, 2009 7am – 3pm

Where: South Mission Jetty in Jetty Lot

Who is elegible: Boys 15 and under & girls 16 and under. NO SPONSORED SURFERS!!

Contestants may only enter in only ONE age division.
