The Trapper:
Made by Hippy Tree
Why we love it:
Also known as “the mullet of jackets” for its’ ability to show off both your slick city side and your lumberjack side, this sweet piece of warmth will have you styled out all winter long.
When it gets chilly outside, the hardest decision to be made is which side of your Trapper best corresponds with your style.
We also have plenty of other Hippy Tree goodies:
The concept of a Travelboard was conceived in 1964 by Karl Pope. Almost 40 years ago, Karl saw that there was a need for a surfboard that could break down to a compact size for ease of travel and then quickly assembled for surfing. From the beginning, the goal was ONE PIECE PERFORMANCE WITH TWO PIECE CONVENIENCE. Karl’s first design was the three piece “Trisect” which evolved over time into the present day two piece “Bisect” system. Thanks to advances in aerospace technology, construction methods and materials, todays “Travelboard” is not only practical, but surfs like a one piece surfboard. Dimensions : 9′6″ x 3 3/16″ x 23″ Price $1375.00

This 5′10″ Quad Fish is very fast. It feels very responsive almost like a skateboard on water. Excellent in smaller surf, and all boards are available in EPS epoxy construction or polyester. All of Don’s fish are available with wooden keel, twinzer, or quad fin setups. Along the lines of the mini Simmons but with Don’s take on it.

A Pendoflex seems to tap more of the available energy. . .sort of like a Fiberflex skateboard, weighting and unweighting . . . building speed on speed. . . it’s really cool. The high speed torque built into these boards slingshots you around sections, yeah and also on top of them. They cover all kinds of area in the flats, are sure and steady in the tube and sick in the pit. Subtle flex characteristics fuel powerful rail turns, while the board conforms to the wave face.

The 6′6″ 21″ x 2.75″ FAST fish is a specialized piece of equipment which lends itself to the line surfing with exciting roundhouse sweeps and quick up the face direction changes. They are short, so spread out your stance and carve away. To check out this board and our 100+ custom surfboards just swing on by 4150 Mission Blvd #161 San Diego CA, 92109
